I am a huge fan of the Lantern at the Ritz Carlton Bangalore. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday there. Chef Kevin is brilliant! I get to taste a few things that were on the new menu as well as new dim sum items. If you love dim sum this is the restaurant for you. A few dishes to note The Crystal seafood dumpling was amazing.

The Lantern is a modern Cantonese restaurant with ambience, decor, and courteous staff. Right from the time we stepped in we felt special. The food is absolutely delicious and the options available are vast. We went for executive dim sum lunch which is a package for couples and the portions were quite filling. Special mention Hugo with whom we had an amazing conversation. Who explained us every dish so well and his suggestion s were right on mark. Thanks to the entire team of the lantern for making our day memorable.

Where do I start ? From the minute you enter The Ritz-Carlton, it's like a different world. Coming to the restaurant, 'The Lantern', the ambience is amazing. Sufficiently lit up to the point which does not strain your eyes. We sat outdoors and there was sufficient greenery all around and to one side of our table there was water that kept on regenerating and falling down. The environment makes you feel relaxed and calm and that is exactly what I needed after a long tiring day at work. Coming to food, it was good, staff and service were exemplary.
